THE PAPER RECYCLING PROJECT WAS SET UP TO SERVE THIS IMPORTANT MISSION
Objective;
The Media center for Development established and has implemented the Paper Recycling Project by cooperate with scholars, business people, academicians , social workers, villagers mass media people, individuals and organization
related to the environmental conservation .
The project has two objective as follows;
1. Educational campaigning and encouraging the separation and the collection of waste paper for other
garbage in office places. This aims to deliver waste paper for recycling processing to help reduce quantity of garbage and quantity of cutting trees for paper pulp mills as well as to help save energy used.
2. Fund-raising campaigning through asking for donation of waste paper or providing collection and delivery services for companies, enterprises, educational institution and other organization. These incomes will be established
as and contributed to “the Fund for Recycle Paper for tree” in order to support the activities of Thai non-governmental organizations and people’s organization on the environmental conservation and the recovery of natural resources.

Who can join project?
Companies, enterprises, business organizations, governmental organization, educational institution, international
organizations, non governmental development organizations, or other organization which use large amount of
office-paper in the boundary of Bangkok Metropolitan and her periphery. BACK
What does the project’s participant do?
First of all, you will be invited if you are interested in joining with the project and ready to collect waste paper and
donate it to the project. Then, seven procedures required to join with the project are as follows:
1. The project staff will come to meet you to explain the project’s goals and objective
.
2. After you agree to join with the project, the project staff will organize an educational campaign to provide useful information and knowledge on paper separation and collection to your staff and concerned in your company.
3. The project will provide your company with paper boxes and plastic bags together waste paper.
4. The project staff will come to collect waste paper at your office regularly Duration of paper collection depends on quantity to waste paper and the agreement with participant company, for example every week, every two week or once month.
5. The project will sell waste paper to paper factories for recycling processing.
6. All donations and incomes from waste paper selling will be contributed to “the Fund for Recycle Paper for trees”
in order to support the activities of Thai non-governmental organizations and people’s organizations on the environmental conservation and the recovery of natural resources.
7. The project will regularly conduct product progress report and send them to all participant companies.
The paper Recycling Project would like to invite and companies, enterprises, business organizations,
educational institutions, governmental organizations and interested persons to join with the project. We are hopeful that donated waste paper in complementary with the project’s participants will be recycled. To use recycled paper will help reduce clearing of natural forests, energy used and pollution for the promotion of all activities of the environmental conservation and the recovery of natural resources as well as for the betterment of the environment in the future.

The Fund for Recycle Paper For Trees
All donations as well as incomes from selling waste paper and services for paper collection and delivery
will be contributed “the Fund for Recycle Paper for Trees” in order to support the activities of Thai non-governmental organization and people’s organizations on the environmental conservation and the recovery of natural resources.

● Reduce quantity of garbage in your office.
● You can help reduce quantity of garbage in Bangkok Metropolitan.
● You can help reduce clearing forests and other resources used such as water supplies.
● You can help support the environmental conservation and the recovery of natural resources, for example,
the activities on reforestation and watershed conservation of non-governmental organizations and
